Ursula Turner - Coffeyville Kansas - Author of A Mother's Sins Ursula Turner "A Mother's Sins" book cover

Ursula Turner had the misfortune of having been born during the dark hours of war-torn Germany. With her father gone off to war, her mother struggled to keep their two daughters and herself fed and clothed and, most importantly, alive, from the bombs that were a constant threat, particularly toward the end of the war.

When Ursula arrived in America at the age of 19, she had a difficult time speaking, let alone writing in English. To fulfill her dream of becoming a published writer, she took every English class the local community offered.

She now lives in Southeast Kansas with her husband Jack and their two dogs Buddee and Shadow.
