Robin was raised in a military family. Most of her friends claimed

her family was like the "Brady Bunch" because her home life seemed

perfect to them. She grew up in a middle class home and moved very

often. Robin was born in Italy while her father was stationed at the

Aviano Air Force Base, although she was actually born at the Army

hospital in Vecinza, Italy due to their ability to do a c-section.

 

Robin's family moved many times resulting in her not living anywhere

more than 3 years. She enjoyed the moving around and lokked at it as a

blessing to have friends in so many places around the country and even

the world. As a child her dream was to grow up, get married, have kids,

and then stay at home and take care of the family and household. Well,

that's exactly what she did, however the fairy tale did not play out the

way she thought it would.

 

Through all of the many struggles this family has endured over the

years, one thing remains strong and true...Robin's unfailing love and faith

in God. Though Robin has struggled with depression, thoughts of loneliness,

and that God has left her at different points through all of the trials, she

chooses to have joy. Happiness and joy are choices we have to make on a

daily basis and Robin makes that decision every day. She believes very

strongly that even though they have been through many trials,which she

does not understand, there is hope and peace through Christ.
