Grant Williams,Arkansas City retired as V.P.of Operations of Kansas Company and took up writing. He is on the Advisory Board of the Humanities Department of Cowley College, Chair of the Advisory Board of the Senior Center in Ark City. Board member of the Literacy Council, Historian of Post #18 American Legion and State V.P. of the Kansas Authors Club.
He reads monthly to the residents of the Presbyterian Manor, Medicalodge, The Sterling House and also for the Residents of the Kansas Veterans Home in Winfield.
Grant has written three other Novels, "The Boys From Hog Heaven","Big Willie", "Hog Heaven and Home" one book of short stories "Pigs and Packinghouses" and has published one book of poetry "A Connecticut Yankee in Kansas" He has a new book coming out soon a novel with the title "Rooftops to Rice Paddies--Willie's Magical Horn"
