Kansas Small Business Tax Workshop
The Successful Entrepreneur Program, at Independence Community College is hosting a Kansas Small Business Tax Workshop with Ronald Grant, tax specialist with the Kansas Department of Revenue. The workshop is set for Thursday, November 12 from 6:30?9:30pm at the Independence Science & Technology Center at 125 S Penn Ave, Independence.
Pre-registration is required and those interested in attending may call Jim Correll at 620-332-5470. There is no charge for the workshop. While the primary audience will consist of the participants enrolled in the Successful Entrepreneur Program, there are a number of additional seats available to other area business owners.
?This workshop demonstrates the business owner's responsibilities regarding Sales & Use Tax as well as Withholding Tax,? said Jim Correll, Facilitator/Business Coach of the Successful Entrepreneur program. ?We're very happy to be able to offer the workshop to our class participants while at the same time inviting area business owners to attend without having to travel to one of the workshop locations.?

The Successful Entrepreneur Program at Independence Community College provides instruction and tools for business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs to be successful in today's competitive marketplace. The primary course material is presented in an online format although monthly meetings are held for guest speakers and special presentations.
