Coffeyville Journal to Cut Back to 3 Editions Per Week As Soon As Next Week
Coffeyville Journal subscribers can expect some big news in this Sunday's edition of the newspaper.
According to two independent sources who spoke with CoffeyvilleBLOG.com, readers will be notified that The Journal will cease publishing five days per week. It is believed The Journal will begin publishing three times per week beginning as soon as next week. It is further believed The Journal will print on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Both sources confirmed that the Sunday edition of the newspaper will be discontinued.
Journal Publisher Kevin Stocker resigned from his position at the newspaper last week.
The Journal has been owned by Sumner Newspapers Inc., since October 2007. It was previously owned by Community Newspapers Holding, Inc., for 10 years.
