CRMC Hall of Fame Nominees Sought
Each year, Coffeyville Regional Medical Center pays tribute to an individual who has been a friend or given of their time to the hospital, by presenting that individual the Hall of Fame Award. Last year's recipient was George A. Smith, former Administrator at CRMC who served from 1968 until 1982.
CRMC is now ready to accept nominations for the next award. The recipient should be someone, living or deceased, who has had significant impact on the hospital's growth and development. Deserving candidates would include employees, board members, auxiliary and physicians.
Past recipients include: Dr. Stephen Ellis, Dr. Bill Read, Dr. J.D. McMillion, Dr. John F. Coyle, Fred Blair, Rita Rinkenbaugh, RN, Herb Wilson, MLT, Roy Kirby, Beulah Robinson, RN, Dr. James Wilson, Lois Boyle, Terry Carter, Donna Cook, RN, Dr. Wilson Uy, T. Homer Denny, and George A. Smith.
A committee of trustees, directors, staff and community members will be chosen by the hospital board to select a recipient from among the nominations. Nominations MUST be in writing and include specific information about the nominee's life and work as it relates to Coffeyville Regional Medical Center. The nominator must indicate why the individual should be selected as the Hall of Fame Inductee. Nominations should be mailed to Jerry Marquette, CEO Coffeyville Regional Medical Center, 1400 West 4th, Coffeyville, KS 67337 by March 1, 2010.
