DOGS
Darling white Pomeranian is cute as can be. He is about eight months old and recently groomed.
Brindle color male Chihuahua pup is pretty, with very big ears. He is about eight months old.
Black terrier puppy is shaggy and cute as can be.
Cute Beagle Cross puppy, about three months old.
What a great family dog! Very pretty and young yellow lab has been at AWOL since July, and she is as sweet and friendly a dog as you’d ever want to meet. She has been at AWOL since July and needs a new home soon.
Duke has also been at AWOL since June, and nobody wants to see him put down, but his time is very short. He is a German Shepherd mix pup, one blue eye and one brown eye, which gives him kind of startling look, but he is really a very nice all-American dog.
The brown eyes will steal your heart. He is a young male basset hound, and a sweeter, friendlier dog you’ll never meet.
Daisy’s time is also short – she’s a Dachshund mix pup, about 6 months old, all black, and never fails to come up to bark a greeting to visitors.
Young Dachshund mix has those soulful brown eyes, but long legs – may be part terrier or even Min Pin. Very friendly – he’s sharing a cage with Daisy and they both like to talk to visitors.
Male Husky mix, might be part Boxer, is tan with short hair and a black muzzle and his Husky ancestry shows up mostly in his pretty blue eyes.
Two young Dachshund mixes, both males and about five months, – one looks like Mom might have met up with a Corgi – he’s tan with long hair and his face doesn’t look Dachshund but his body does. The other looks mostly Dachshund, and it’s anybody’s guess what Pop might have been.
CATS
Lots of cute kittens, between about 6 weeks and two months, with several colors to choose from: all grey, calico, black and white, grey and white.
Two friendly tabbies, short-haired. Both love attention from visitors.
Pretty long-haired female gold cat.
The economy has an effect on everybody. Two cats are already spayed and declawed and were turned in by their owners new indoor homes. One is a young light tan/grey tortoiseshell kitty with long hair, very friendly. The other is mostly white, with black/grey spots, also spayed and declawed. He is somewhat older and more shy.

 Description: I found a full blooded English Pointer (Hope) at the beginning of June. It was apparent that she had been on her own for awhile. I managed to get her into a national pointer rescue, but to my surprise she was pregnant. So now Hope is still in the rescue’s program, but her mixed puppies are not. Mom is approx 45 lbs and I expect the puppies to be in that same area or a little bigger. They will be 7 weeks old on September 15th, that is the soonest I will take them away from mom. They are and will be fully vetted, they had their declaws removed, wormed, and at 6 weeks will get their first round of shots. They are happy, healthy, social little pups; I’m looking for a family that needs a good pup to bring into their home. I will not adopt these babies out to someone that will put them on a chain. Still needs more grooming but my health is such that I've gone as far as I can for him. He's lovable, playful and loves the water. I have a wading pool that will go with him. Please help find him a home. He seems good with kids just super enthusiastic.
