Older male heeler mix, about 8 years old, was found on Aug 26th on West Maple.
White and Brown Jack Russell cross, about 4 months old, was found in the 400 block of East Maple on Aug 30.
Tan and black male puppy, about 2 months old, was found in the 200 block of Earl.
Mostly Black male mix with some white, medium-length hair, medium size, was found on Aug 27th.
Rottweiler or Rottweiler Cross was found in the 700 block of East Hill on Aug 31.

Male Bassett Hound, mostly white with brown spots, was picked up at Woods Lumber in the 900 block North Penn, Independence on August 14.
Found August 20 on Cement Street in east Independence, near KG&E, two male dachshund mix young dogs, about 5-6 months. One is gold/tan with long fur, might be part Corgi; other is black and tan with dachshund markings.
Found first week in August in front of Marvins, 200 block North 10th, Independence, young terrier with shaggy black hair.
Striking looking mix breed, best guess is Husky mix (blue eyes) might be part boxer – short hair, light tan with darker muzzle. He was found at the library in Independence, 200 block East Maple on Aug 19.
